Product Description

Elvis '77 DVD Series consists of 6 DVDs with 3 of the DVDs being dual layered. (So really it's almost like saying 9 DVD's compared to the average DVD). The contents of the DVDs are;

... The 1977 CBS TV Special in perfect quality, a very special treat for fans. For the first time ever, using a 1st Generation digital copy of a TV Station tape, (originally used to broadcast 'The Special' in October 1977) it has been re-mastered frame by frame and now finally, released to fans to watch this in all its glory!

Then there are two DVDs with the Omaha June 19 show from a new tape source with unreleased footage for the first time and the Rapid City June 21st concert from a new tape source with unreleased footage and near 100% complete for the first time. These are the last two professionally filmed Elvis shows taped for the CBS TV Special in 1977. While not as good in picture quality as the 'TV Special', these come from a tape source four generations better than previously used before. Not only have these two shows been painstakingly restored and re-mastered frame by frame, but for the first time, it include new unreleased footage from Rapid City, making this show practically complete. In fact all that is missing is just a few of the introductions. The new footage found from Omaha now makes this show 100% complete!

And completing the 'picture', two DVDs containing 8mm film of Elvis in concert with more than 2 hours of unreleased footage with the best sound possible on all footage. The 8mm DVD's are dual layered for maximum length with maximum quality and all have multi angle viewing. Included in this section is 36 minutes of unreleased footage from Indianapolis alone. And, the sixth DVD contains 1977 news footage. DVD. DVD 1 (amateur 8mm film)
